The famous sign that adorned the Silver Slipper Gambling Hall has been restored and will be installed Thursday night in downtown Las Vegas.
Crews will place the slipper in the center of Las Vegas Boulevard south of Washington Avenue near Cashman Field just before midnight.
It is the last of three signs recently restored and put on display in the street median. The Bow and Arrow Motel sign and the Binion’s Horseshoe were also recently put in place.
All three signs will soon be lit at an official ceremony for the Neon Sign Improvement Project.
